Historic properties REQUIRE special marketing.    Simply putting a home on the multiple listing service does not sell a historic property - especially in a difficult market.  Antique homes are rarely sold to buyers in the same community.   Buyers frequently look throughout regions and will come from a distance for that special antique home.  It is all about the property and lifestyle. 

Approximately 50% of my buyers are from The New York Metropolitan & Philadelphia areas and Europe. These buyers are either looking for a particular antique property they cannot find in their area, are shopping for their country home or weekend home, are being relocated through their company or want to buy a more affordable or private historic property within commuting distance to Manhattan or Philadelphia.
